FLIS

ProcBox searches the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) by NSN, NIIN, and Part Number to provide the user procurement history for each item.  ProcBox adjusts the historical procurement costs to current year procurement by the user selected index.  ProcBox also quantity adjusts the historical data to reflect the unit cost for the proposed quantity by using the procurement data or a user specified quantity curve. The following guidelines from “Cost Estimator’s Reference Manual – 2nd Edition” by Rodney Stewart can be used:

• Raw materials 93-96%

• Purchased Parts 85-88%
