ProcBox uses the most recent Bureau of Labor and Statistics occupational data by user specified locations.  ProcBox displays the hourly wages associated with the 10th percentile, 25th percentile, mean, 75th percentile, and 90th percentile.  The 10th percentile hourly wage means 10% of all survey respondents earn less than that value.  The 25th percentile hourly wage means 25% of all survey respondents earn less than that value and so on.  The hourly mean is the average wage for the occupation in that area based upon survey respondents.  ProcBox then escalates this data to the user specified procurement year using the user specified Office of Secretary of Defense Inflation Guidance dated 6 February 2025 inflation index.
